Open Mind Recordings is a boutique record label, dedicated to producing what we hope will be thought of as some of the finest electronic music records.

We're vinyl heads and proud of it - vinyl sounds better, looks better, and is way more fun to play than digital. And being old school, we're also still in love with the whole form of the record as a package. We're lucky to know some very talented individuals, and are extremely grateful to Jon Marston for his wonderful original artwork on Nick's e.p., and Emile Facey for the Lifeworks art & cover design.

We like to think the care and thought that goes into each release is obvious to see and hear and trust that they will bring much audio-visual pleasure to all who find them.

Thanks for listening!

"There is so much excellent music on this album that it would be impossible to give adequate feedback without writing lengthy reviews of every track! In short every single track is memorable in its own way. It is clear that each of these artists have put their best foot forward and presented the crème de la crème of what melodic/Detroit influenced techno has to offer in 2006. Whether or not these tracks were actually made this year doesn’t really matter because they are truly classic and timeless. Respect is due to the artists and label for not slacking one bit and giving us 100% quality over the entire compilation." - Dan Curtin
